| Site Description: Can you provide a brief overview of the primary responsibilities and functions of your department? Here at the Akron location, we strive to provide top quality customer service every day. We get customers the answers to the questions they have, we ask the right question to ensure the customer is getting what they need, and we get them loaded up, out the door and back on the jobsite with minimal downtime. Key Personnel: Tim Mayle: Manager. Jillian Schuelien: Store Lead. Caitlyn Hartman and Bridget Beatty: CSR. Charles Hale: Loader Do you have any team-building activities or traditions that contribute to a positive work environment? Last season we worked at cross-training everyone in both CSR and Loader. This allowed everyone to move around and not get burned out in one spot doing the same thing day after day. Achievements and Milestones: Highlight any significant achievements or milestones your site has accomplished. Oct. 2022 Most increased Soil Sales, May 2023 Most Increased Mulch Sales What are the upcoming goals and priorities for your department in the next quarter or year? We are working to keep improving the appearance of our location, increase sales with superior customer service, and win more customers over to us for their hardscape needs. Culture: Describe the culture and atmosphere at your site. What makes it special? I would describe us as friendly, easy going and laid back, but when the time comes we are ready to go. We thrive on busy–busy makes us very happy. When the phones are ringing off the hook, there are 5 people standing in the office and the yard is full of trucks, that is when we shine. When it is all over we come together and celebrate each others accomplishments, and brag about what we just did. |
