Congratulations to our August Employee of the Month: Sue Harris
I am nominating this employee for Employee of the Month because she truly has a heart bigger than the state of Ohio. Her compassion, energy, and unwavering support for others make her a shining example of what it means to be part of the Kurtz Bros. family. She consistently goes out of her way to offer help and encouragement to any employee who needs it. Her upbeat personality is contagious, and it plays a key role in fostering the positive, family-like culture we value so deeply. Beyond her own role, she actively supports other departments volunteering her time to walk in parades, work events, and represent KB with pride and professionalism. Recently, she demonstrated her selflessness in an extraordinary way. An elderly woman who had recently lost her husband mistakenly came to our office, thinking it was the Cleveland Clinic in Independence. Though she tried to give directions, it became clear the woman was too overwhelmed to understand. Without hesitation, this employee got in her car and had the woman follow her all the way to her destination ensuring she arrived safely and with peace of mind. This act of kindness is just one example of the kind of person she is. She leads with heart, she lifts those around her, and she makes our company, and the world, a better place. We are lucky to have her on our team. Her presence strengthens our brand, our culture, and our mission every single day.
