| Site Description: Can you provide a brief overview of the primary responsibilities and functions of your department? We provide bulk landscape supplies and paver products to contractors and homeowners in Lake, Cuyahoga, and Geauga Counties. Key Personnel: Wendy Valencic – Assistant Manager Andres Torres – Loader Operator Colette Alaqua – CSR Share interesting or unique details about your team members (hobbies, achievements, etc.) / Are there any interesting or fun facts about your department that people might not know? Wendy just sent her first child to college! Andres has three daughters–the youngest is starting her first year of school. Do you have any team-building activities or traditions that contribute to a positive work environment? We all have a great working relationship and talk outside of work pretty consistently. We work together to achieve our goals here at the store. No one can do it alone. That’s why teamwork and collaboration are so important to us here in Willowick. Achievements and Milestones: Highlight any significant achievements or milestones your site has accomplished. We hit our new customer goal very early in the season! Andres, Wendy and myself have been working hard to retain old customers and build relationships with new ones! What are the upcoming goals and priorities for your department in the next quarter or year? Our store is in the process of getting our team set for the fall! Are there any strategic initiatives that your team is excited to work on? We are working on building our book of business at our Painesville Site! Environmental Initiatives: Share any environmentally friendly practices or initiatives your site has implemented. We took a lot of yard waste from municipalities after the storms rolled through NEO. Residential customers were allowed to dump at our site for free. Culture: Describe the culture and atmosphere at your site. What makes it special? We’ve got great people on our team. Everyone is willing to help everyone else, and that’s what makes us so special. Nobody will shy away from assisting their coworker with a project or question!
