| Site Description: Can you provide a brief overview of the primary responsibilities and functions of your department? We maintain all the products we produce along with material coming in! Key Personnel: Patrick Costanzo: Foreman of the Avon Production Site! Ivan Rodriguez: A key player in keeping production running smoothly, Ivan handles everything from loading trucks to assisting with production and managing incoming loads. Tim Zacharias: As the lead in producing Avon’s product, Tim colors and screens the mulch, while also screening our topsoil and compost. David Barrios: New to the team, David is in charge of quality control here in Avon. Share interesting or unique details about your team members (hobbies, achievements, etc.) / Are there any interesting or fun facts about your department that people might not know? Both Ivan and Tim have come along way since they started– Ivan became a master at the loader and has learned a lot about what we do as a company; Tim has become so efficient with running the loaders along with the excavator, showing a lot of potential. We can’t wait to see what David brings to the team! Do you have any team-building activities or traditions that contribute to a positive work environment? We always offer a hand when a team member needs it or is doing something time consuming! Achievements and Milestones: Highlight any significant achievements or milestones your site has accomplished. Maintaining a clean facility!! We are also expanding certain parts of the yard to have more room for production. What are the upcoming goals and priorities for your department in the next quarter or year? To keep the site GROWING, along with the crew. Yard waste and compost are going to be our next major goal to tackle! Environmental Initiatives: Share any environmentally friendly practices or initiatives your site has implemented. We separate yard waste into three distinct piles to maintain smaller loads and recycle more wood for mulch, helping us save costs. Additionally, all grass is sorted into our ground pile to minimize the need for grinding. Culture: Describe the culture and atmosphere at your site. What makes it special?
