Transportation Update: August 2026
Year to date: nearly 35,000 deliveries
From January through August, our fleet made 34,963 deliveries to 7,872 customers. Here’s how that work splits out:
- Single axles: 11,833 deliveries, about a third of the total
- Large loads: 8,070 deliveries, nearly a quarter of the total
- Flatbeds: 565 runs for the specialty loads that need them
- Internal orders: 12,795 deliveries moving material between our yards, stores and production sites so bins and shelves stayed stocked. That’s more than a third of everything we hauled this year.
In August, Production sites carried the heaviest load. CDF 12 and Bridgeview were the two busiest locations by a wide margin, and North Canton came next. Among the stores, North Canton, Avon, Hudson, Valley View and Garfield sent out the most deliveries. We also hauled regularly from supplier yards, including National Lime, Carmeuse, Lakeside and Fritz.
Nearly 35,000 deliveries in eight months doesn’t happen without our drivers, dispatchers, yard crews and mechanics. Thanks to everyone who kept the fleet moving through the summer rush. Let’s finish the season strong.
