Commercial Sales Update – September 2026
Commercial Sales Update
September is always a month of transition. We’re wrapping up the landscape season while also looking ahead and preparing for winter. Fall planting and mulching remain important parts of the season, especially as we work to protect soil and landscapes as temperatures drop. And, of course, construction projects don’t stop just because the weather gets colder—work will continue well into the winter months.
Our distributors are also beginning to wrap up their season with KB. CSR’s, now is a great time to reach out to your regular customers and check in. Ask how we’re doing, particularly when it comes to service and quality. Let them know we value their business and that we care about their experience. The Sales Team will be doing the same.
Projects We’re Working On
There’s still plenty happening across Northeast Ohio, including:
- Solon Mini Forest
- Solon Community Park Expansion
- Aurora Park
- Bunts Road – Lakewood
- ODOT I-90 Rest Area – Chardon
- ODOT I-90 Rest Area – Bath
- Metroparks Cleveland Zoo
- Spire Analytics Complex – Geneva
- Crushers Stadium Rodeo Project – Avon
- Huntington Browns Stadium
- Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Addition
We’ll also be hosting the Municipal Engineers Association monthly luncheon meeting at our main office on October 7. The meeting will focus on our product testing and specialty soils and will be a great opportunity to showcase some of what KB has to offer.
Looking Ahead to Winter
Winter is approaching quickly, and salt pricing requests have already started coming in. With last year’s shortage creating challenges for vendors and customers alike, communication will be especially important when it comes to pricing and customer allotments.
Please stay in close contact with the office so we can keep everyone on the same page and make sure we’re communicating consistent information to our customers.
Happy selling—and let’s make the last quarter of 2026 our best yet!
And remember… there’s no such thing as a bad order!
