Leadership Update – October 2026

As October comes to a close, it is hard to believe we are approaching the end of another year. While 2026 has certainly brought its share of challenges, I continue to be impressed by the effort, commitment, and determination our teams have shown throughout the year.

Our financial results have not always reflected the hard work taking place across the company. The challenges at the Landfill have had a significant impact on our overall performance, but when we look at the rest of the business, there is a lot to be proud of. Excluding the Landfill, we are performing ahead of budget, Production continues to deliver strong results, and our project business has created opportunities that extend well beyond our traditional landscape season.

We are also seeing the results of our efforts to grow the business and strengthen customer relationships. Our Stores have exceeded their new customer sales goal, Transportation is having one of its busiest Octobers in recent years, and our Commercial Sales team continues to secure exciting projects throughout Northeast Ohio. These accomplishments are the result of people across the company working together to deliver the quality and service our customers expect.

With Thanksgiving approaching, I also want to take a moment to thank each of you. Whether you are working in our yards, driving trucks, serving customers, managing projects, or supporting the business behind the scenes, your contributions matter. I appreciate the pride you take in your work and the commitment you show to one another and our customers.

We still have work to do before the year is over, but I am proud of what we have accomplished together. Let’s continue supporting one another, taking care of our customers, and building on the progress we have made.
